The amount of money overseen by the global asset management sector is set to rise to more than $130tn over the next two years, but fund groups are being urged to pivot to Asia and target retail investors for the best chances of winning new business.

According to a report from Broadridge, global assets will rise to $132tn by 2027, up from around $114tn currently.
