FCA fines Neil Woodford £6m and bans him from senior roles

The Financial Conduct Authority has fined Neil Woodford £5.9m for failures relating to the collapse of his flagship Equity Income fund in 2019.

The UK regulator has also fined Woodford Investment Management, the company he founded in 2014, £40m and banned the former star stock picker from holding senior manager roles and managing funds for retail investors.
